Room was very small, with rather primitive toilet and shower. Very little room for clothes and no storage for suitcases. A trainline ran right outside the window, which was noisy as trains ran all night. Room was very hot and difficult to cool as air-conditioner was pretty decrepit and just not up to the job. Our room was on the 2nd floor, there was no lift and we found the 30 stairs steep and a hard climb. On the plus side, the staff were polite, cheerful and helpful, there was a fridge in the room, and we had clean sheets every day. Breakfast was adequate if not exciting. The building is obviously old and probably hard to keep clean but was reasonable enough to stay in for a short spell. We didn't spend any more time in it than we had to. The location was quite good, 5 minutes from the tube station and bus station.

The house was OK, clean and very affordable. Staff were very accommodating, we really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. It's really good for us students, who are looking for affordable hotel to stay.

I had pleasant stay. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and polite. I will use this hotel again even though I have stayed in better/cheaper places. It's central location near Victoria is a real bonus

The room was tiny and was overlooking a railway line, the shower/toilet was minute and stank but it was cheap for London prices

I had everything I needed. Bed, tea/coffee, shower, toilet and TV. For the price, I am very happy with my stay. Having said that, if I had one complaint it would be that bathroom didn't come across as being too fresh.

Room was very small but clean. Breakfast was adequate. Satisfactory for a budget hotel in such a central location.

Reasonable for a 1 or 2 night stay, and are using the hotel only as a place to sleep. Room was very small, but on the plus side it does have a small fridge. Very handy for central London, Victoria coach station is 2 or 3 minutes away. Train and underground slightly further away.

stayed here for 4 nights, will not be staying here again as the room was too small and shower had no curtain and toilet was a bit smelly.

Although the staff are cheerful and pleasant, the rooms are the worst I have seen in my life. Cramped, smelly, (despite the three air fresheners) The bathroom is is a toilet with a shower fitting on the side wall. We paid for two nights but left and found another hotel at Victoria station. Neither my wife nor I would have been able to use the bathroom and the smell would not have permitted sleep. We have always found suitable accommodation on other trips to Europe.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in London properly. It was convenient for all my needs and the staff were courteous and helpful at all times.

I was expecting just a single room without WC so was pleased to be given a twin bedroom with toilet and shower. I was also glad to have tea-making facilities and TV - why doesn't Travelstay's description mention these? The fittings were definitely dated and the room was cramped but the sheets and towels were well clean. Breakfast was fine but better to call it uncooked rather than continental (there were no croissants). Very centrally located near Victoria station with friendly staff but they should point out fire exits to visitors. The only reason for me not to stay again were the many cctv cameras (even in the breakfast room - why?) which I found unnecessary and off-putting.

Basic and a little dated. Price reflect's quality, you get what you pay for! Great location as it's right in the centre, close to the coach station. So a good starting point but not for those who like comfort!

Location it really great, in walking distance to Victoria Coach and underground station. Quiet neighbourhood. Good service from staff. The rooms are small but clean. The only negative thing is, that the beds are old, and not suitable for people with tendency to back pain.

We had a room with en-suite for 3 nights. The management put us at Annexe Hotel next door. The room was small and very old. Carpet looked dirty. Bathroom was extremely small! The room was next to the railway line, so very noisy at night and early morning. The location was great though.

Great location, easy to find! Little bit of noise, but totally unavoidable as it's from the trains going past the back of the building. Clean rooms, all the amenities for a short stay, and the staff were very nice and friendly.

Very basic, no frills. The room was OK although right next to tube tracks so don't expect a great nights sleep! The bathroom was in the same room with no lock or working light (had to use the facilities several flights down) It was cheap.
