Description |
|
 |
 |
|
|
Holly House Hotel London may be basic, but as it’s cheap and a few minutes’ walk from Victoria Train, Tube and Coach Station, you’ll find it easy to get around London on a budget. You won’t have to spend all of your money on public transport though, as many of London’s most famous attractions including Buckingham Palace and Westminster Cathedral are only a short walk away. You won’t have to buy breakfast either as a continental breakfast is included in the price and served in the dining room.

A Typical Room at Holly House Hotel London
 |
 |
You can book a single, twin, double, triple or quad room at Holly House Hotel London. Many of the rooms have their own ensuite bathrooms, but if your budget is tight you can always book a single, double or twin room that shares a bathroom. The cosy rooms here are simple (with few amenities including central heating, a small fridge, colour television and tea and coffee making equipment), but as they’re comfortable and well located they make an ideal base for London exploration. |

| Very good location, but small rooms (big enough for sleeping only) The variety of breakfast could be greater, we had the same all week. The services were good, but the fridge did not work at first. We were satisfied. |

| The room was small as to be expected for the price paid.
Staff were very helpful, location central, (very close to Victoria Bus Station). Believe it to be very good value for money. |

| My son and I both enjoyed our stay at the Holly Hotel. The rooms are basic, but clean and tidy. Staff were all friendly and atentive. Would book Holly House again. Thanks |

| I stayed in a basic room at this hotel. It was cleaned daily and comfortable. If you need a cheap hotel in central London you cannot go wrong with Holly House hotel. Staff friendly also. |

| Excellent value for money - good location to hop onto the tube at Victoria Station (tip: don't try this with too much baggage but rather find a wheelchair friendly station and take a bus to Vic St). If all you need is a safe place to rest your head while you're out and about during the day, this is it - you can't go wrong! The breakfast is an absolute bonus. We will definitely book Holly House Hotel again. |

| Staff were not friendly or efficient! I suppose you got what you paid for, the room was ok and the location excellent for Victoria but basically the place is very tired. I would rather watch Man City than stay there again |

| I booked for 3 nights in a single basic (not ensuite) room. When I got to my room it was a double room so was well impressed. The hotel is basic and clean the white sheets on the bed was bright white and crisp. Holly House Hotel backs onto the main railway line so can be noisey but you dont take much notice after a while. Great location as only 5 min walk from train and coach station. You will book for Holly House Hotel but may end up in one of the other 6 virtually identical hotels they own in the street. Great value, so I'll be booking again soon. |

| The location of the Holly House Hotel is great...being so close to the Apollo Victoria Theatre as well as both Victoria train and coach stations. Staff were polite and allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel on our checking out day. Be warned: Even the en suite bathroom is ridiculously tiny!! This place will do if you only plan to sleep there after a hectic day of absorbing the london sites. It's all about location location location with this hotel! |

| Holly House is one of five neighbouring hotels owned by the same person(s) and situated very conveniently within five minutes walk of Victoria train station and tube station. Because of the price and some of the reviews here, I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised - a clean, cosy room of a decent size awaited, with tea and coffee making facilities. Unfortunately, the size of the bathroom was very small, and the sink even smaller - so small in fact that it was extremely difficult to fill the kindly provided kettle for a cuppa! Shower was as basic as you can get. Breakfast was taken in the Holly House Hotel lounge area and was a decent size, although no choice of cereal, so if you don't like cornflakes, forget it! All in all, the price is great, it's so convenient for a night or two, and much better than many places I've stayed in around the world. |

| We got what we paid for, so I guess we can't really complain. The place was clean, if a little shabby, and the en-suite was tiny and with no shower-curtain. Breakfast was basic, but ok (juice, cereal and toast). Location-wise, excellent. I guess I would recommend it for short-stays for the budget traveller. Oh, one thing: there are a few guest-houses next to each other, that obviously are administered by the same people; so, even though we had booked in Holly House, we phisically stayed in Cedar House, just two doors away. I don't know if the standards would vary much between the two, but I doubt it. |

| The hotel is very basic and decor is awful but if you're looking for budget accomodation then it will do for a few nights. Only 5 minutes away from victoria station so quite central. |

| We stayed at Holly House Hotel earlier this year. The hotel was not very nice. It was extremely basic (the decor was really tatty!) and we had to wait for breakfast in the morning. But then again, what can you expect for the price? Booked it because it was the cheapest we could find and it does have a great location (right next to Victoria station), just don't expect much! |
