Reviews : Pleasant

Overall Hyde Park Hostel is very smart/modern and drinks are cheap compard to buying them in shops etc. Breakfast was poor as only cornflakes, toast, tea and coffee (no fruit juice/cold drinks, not much choice) and very busy so be prepared to stand. Rooms small but beds extremely comfortable but bathroom facilities not available on every floor. Top floor of Astor Hyde Park is tough as there's 4 sets of stairs to climb though the bathroom facilities are best up there.

Hyde Park Hostel was definately one of the most fun hostels I stayed at while in Europe. While it might be a little loud or busy for people looking for a relaxing stay, it is definately well run, a great location and a fun atmosphere.

Hyde Park Hostel is purely and simply the best hostel u can find!!! We met some funny people (so crazy sometimes!) but so nice and friendly that we didnt leave London! Staff are also very nice and helpful. Ok, the rooms at Hyde Park Hostel aren't so nice but u finally forget it. All in this hostel make u feel good. If u want to have some fun and meet some fun people, go at night in the ITA bar. The drinks are very cheap (2£ ??!!!)Our best holidays and thx to astor's Hyde Park hostel and the people inside! WE'LL BE BACK!!! XXX almisrat

The hostel is not so clean, and in general the atmosphere was not all that....lots of people smoking in front of the TV. There are probably nicer places to stay in London for the same price.
