Nice quiet clean place. Enjoyed our stay at Hyde Park Hostel

A decent little place this, run by the same management as the Royal Bayswater Hostel just around the corner. This place was decent and friendly, ramshackle and basic but clean - which is impressive given the overall price you are paying. Staff (both reception desk and cleaning etc) reasonably courteous and helpful. Internet OK but little use for job applications as you cannot download / upload - you'd have to head to the covered Market in Queensway for that. Decent cereal, toast and jam, tea / coffee / squash breakfast. I stayed in room 44 and the two different sets of showers I used had good power and good heat, though I don't know how uniform this is - it was better than other London hostels I've been too. A good mix of nationalities and age groups too, plus the location. Overall, yes, Hyde Park Hostel gets my vote. Thank You

Hyde Park Hostel is affordable and good

I enjoyed my visit at Hyde Park Hostel very much. I've been a guest at this hostel before, and that experience was also very good. It's clean and the staff is friendly. The only bad thing is that the beds are not as comfortable as wished and the place needs a redesign. Otherwise, it's a great hostel and I will be a guest there again

I enjoyed staying at Hyde Park Hostel. Nice people and the dining room is like a social centre. What I didn't like is that you don't have lockers and have to pay and when you pay to store a single bag seems too much, also free wifi would be great. However the location is perfect so it compensates

Hyde Park Hostel is a great hostel with friendly people

For the price and location, Hyde Park Hostel was great. Breakfast was simple but filling and the beds were comfortable. Facilities were very old and run-down but there were enough bathrooms and toilets everywhere that I never had to wait. The cleaning staff were actually fairly diligent
