We had a very nice holiday, at an affordable price. The room ,beds and bathroom were kept very clean. It was possible to wash our clothes, which I found practical. The staff were all very nice. It's a place I recommend

Nice and clean. We spent a lot of time outdoors so we needed just a shower and a bed - for a good price. Everything was close from there, I appreciated it a lot. Also the manager was nice and polite. We also had a fridge in the room. What else does one need?

Susan Lawence Hostel was very good, could have be a little more clean but had all the needed amenities and for student life worked out very well. Even had affordable internet access.

Convenient location, good value though basic. Dito advice to take your own sheet and pillow. The room and bedding were clean but warn. Take some ear plugs if your a light sleeper. Friendly and helpful staff, hot running water and good shared facilities. Great if you just need a cheap base for a couple of nights

I enjoyed my stay at the hostel. The manager, I think he was the manager anyway, an Italian man, was very helpful. The hostel is old and shabby but it was clean and good value for money. I was only a short walk from Kings Cross station and only about 15 minutes walk from Euston. The only issue, and not really an issue, more a small point, was that the pillows were very old and lumpy, but that wasn't too bad at the price!
