Added rating of a 3, but it is more like 2.5. Hostel location great. If you like walking, it is in walkable distance to the center of the city; also using metro, trains or buses is very convenient. It was the poorest hostel I've ever stayed in. The hostel seems like it needs renovation. Walls, beds, other furniture or dishes in the kitchen seems pretty shabby. But on the other hand, the staff seems to try to keep general cleanness - bed linen was clean and someone washes all the dishes and cleans the kitchen. Shared WC and shower also are kept on somehow, although shower room floor was always very wet. And there was someone coming daily to clean a sink and visible part of our room floor daily. To sum up - well, the Susan Lawrence Hostel was ok

Susan Lawrence Hostel Reviews
Susan Lawrence Hostel wasn't good or bad. It is welllocated, as you can reach Oxford Street Station in just 15min walking. Beds aren't that great and the walls are so thin that you can hear basically everything someone else's saying. The people at the reception were very nice and helpful
The Susan Lawrence Hostel is a great place to stay on a budget, which was the reason why we chose to stay there. The staff were very friendly and the location was excellent. The room was warm, but a little old and worn, with need of some paint and new furniture but overall, a pleasant stay
The price is fair and the basic facilities are available and workable. The staff is kind and ready to help every time when I asked for information. The nuisances are the noises made by the almost non-stopping traffic on the road and student-like young guys' staying-up talking, singing and whatever. In addition, the quilt cover and the pillow case are a little dirty. They should have been replaced once the last guests leave
The Susan Lawrence Hostel is fantastic. It's cheap and cheerful and all the people staying there are lovely. I was made to feel very welcome and hopefully I'll be able to further my stay there
