We expected a common kitchen would supply cooking pots and pans. Good location, close to tube in a good area. Clean, but small rooms

Hammersmith Rooms Reviews
It was a bit noisy (door banging because of the wind) and the shower in the early morning wasn't hot but it was scrupulously clean and comfortable and the location was great - and it's cheap! You get what you pay for and this is good for the price - just don't expect too much
We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom on the ground floor. The room was very nice, clean and tidy with two big windows. It seemed recently refurbished. Toilet / bathroom was also very clean and brand new, altogether it was more than we expected so we were pleasently surprised. There was also fridge in the room. During our 4 nights stay we had our towels exchanged once which was ok. Staff was very friendly and on our last day we were allowed to leave our baggage in the hostel while we were still exploring the city. A lot of rewievs here mention noise from the door slamming which is true, as people are coming in / going out through all night, so if you have a light sleep with a pair of ear plugs your problems is easily solved. Hammersmith underground station / bus station is few minutes away so location is really good and I would highly reccomend Hammersmith Rooms
This is not like a hotel but a hostel. It was a very neat and clean London hostel in a good location, which was very important for us. Kitchen was our main preference because we have small kids. However, kitchen did not have any utensils to cook anything and rooms are only cleaned-up once a week - even the garbage bin was not cleaned from room. Toilet paper and soap were not there in toilets and shower room, they were provided to individual persons and you are supposed to carry them with you every time you visit toilet or shower. Internet was available but costlier than local market in London. Considering it a hostel as opposed to be an individual hotel as expected, I am giving rating 4 otherwise it should be lower from a hotel perspective
I stayed at Hammersmith Rooms with a friend for 3 nights. It's a pretty big hostel in a nice little part of London, just 7 stops on the tube from Picadilly Circus and co. We were given a room on the 3rd floor and had to carry our luggage in the stairs (no lift). First floor seemed as if it had been recently renovated but the 2nd and 3rd floor look like the interior of a factory. Consequently, you can hear everything everyone is doing (lots of echo). Showers and toilets are alright except that there is no men and women signs on them! The double room itself was nice, we had a fridge which was pretty cool. In short, it's cheap, and it shows
