Hammersmith Rooms ReviewsBased on 635 Hotel Reviews
I had a double ensuite, as expected from a London hostel it was very basic but was very clean, there were cups, plates and cutlery provided in the room, plus towels. There was a wardrobe and a fridge in the room. There were plenty of kitchens on each floor and a little shop in the foyer that sold hot and cold drinks plus various types of food from sandwiches to ready meals etc to heat up in the kitchens. I never used the communal kitchens or bathrooms so can't comment on them. The bed was comfortable, the room warm and surprisingly quiet. If you want a cheap basic room in London then Hammersmith Rooms is worth looking at
Hammersmith Rooms is ideal for a comfortable sleep at a low price. Walking distance from Tube Station
Proximity to underground and restaurants - it can't get better that Hammersmith Rooms! Yet since it was not right on the main road, it was not noisy. The only noise one could find was in the morning - opening and shutting of door as people started using the toilet, shower and kitchen. Neatness of room - excellent. The double room was very spacious (much larger than hotel rooms in central locations at competitive prices), the floor was tiled and very neat. The room also had a study table with two chairs, a bedside cabinet, a cupboard and a fridge. Each floor had tons of kitchens, showers and toilets. So any room you stay is close to those. The kitchen had hob, sink and microwave! The TV lounge was a good social pod with TV, computers, tables and sofas. The only flip side - some toilets were found in unclean state at night. I would have given 5/5 if the cleaning of toilet was made more regular as no room is ensuite here
Hammersmith Rooms is nice and clean, very good position. Only bad thing is that internet connection is far too expensive. It is charged by hour, but it should be charged per day or per stay in hostel
Room and the whole of Hammersmith Rooms was very clean. Room was also relatively calm (I asked for it). Kitchens were many and at hand, I missed free access to wi-fi and it would be nice if people at the reception said hello to guests as we passed by
