Great London hostel! Friendly staff, nice rooms and it's in a prime location! Would book Hammersmith Rooms again
Rooms, kitchens and bathrooms are clean. Rooms are spacious. Nice hotel attendants. Quiet place, close to the underground station and bus stop, close to many shops. Hammersmith is like a small city centre, but hotel is on a quiet street. Disadvantage is lack of free WiFi and broken lift and lack of kitchen equipment
My room was clean, bright and had a fridge and full-length mirror, which were hugely helpful! There were plenty of showers, toilets and kitchens on each corridor, which was very convenient. The lift was out of order on the day I arrived, but fixed by the next day (which shows quick action from the hotel staff). One of the showers was dirty on my first morning there, but had been cleaned by the time I returned later in the day. Staying here means being at close quarters with other guests, whose manners the hotel can't control, but I didn't have any problems, and found Hammersmith Rooms comfortable and convenient, perfect for my stay
Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and spacious
It was nice, clean, quiet room. The underground station is very close. The room space is a little bit small.
I enjoyed my stay in this hostel. It is close to the underground and a bus station. There is access to a kitchen where you can prepare meals. My room was equipped with a fridge. The staff takes care about cleanliness. During our 8-day stay they changed bedspreads and towels 3 times. I didn't like slamming doors but I think it's the fault of guests. I was surprised that at the check-in desk I wasn't asked for an ID. When you enter the hostel they don't check if you are their guest. Still the hostel has CCTV.
It was very nice hotel and i enjoyed my time. Hope to book Hammersmith Rooms again for my next stay in London
I'm from Italy. Room a little 'small, but there was everything you need: refrigerator, private bathroom. Interesting kitchen, TV room and the availability of the washing machine and the bar open 24h. The only thing to criticize is the wifi for a fee. 1 pound = 1 hour, over-priced
Room initially allocated to us was in a very noisy corridor, making it hard to sleep. After the first night we asked to move and we were given another room which was, thankfully, quieter. Both rooms were supposed to be double rooms but they were too small. The double bed was next to the wall with a single bedside table on the other side. I never saw such an arrangement in a hotel before. They accepted payment in cash upon arrival. The receptionist said their card machine wasn't working that day.
Clean room with refrigerator, but near the hallway, so it was awfully loud, especially during the night. Staff was ok friendly. Fantastic Central London location (4 tube lines in 5 min walking time), nice pubs and various supermarkets nearby.
