Looks dodgy from the outside - but clean and warm inside. Breakfast poor - cold beans! Why?! But cheap and well worth it for London prices. No problems

Really nice hotel, the receptionist were really friendly and nice. They help us and inform us about restaurants and things to do in London. But the entrance is hard to find, rooms are too warm and the towels and sheets are not changed everyday

Clean, warm, dry, good value. Had room only, TV was a bit ancient and remote did not work but in general stay was pleasant

You have to remember that this is a one-star hotel but even given that, it was strange that there was absolutely nowhere to hang clothes, not even a peg on the back of the door. (Good drawer space but not the same thing). However it is clean, comfortable, quiet (mews courtyard off busy Mare Street), close to London Fields train station and buses. Another plus is that they have limited space for car parking. The staff are pleasant and helpful. 24-hour access

The staff were welcoming and the stairs were lovely but the room itself was not up to a 1 star standard in my eyes. There was only one curtain dangling on its pole, the shower had no power and the water was trickling out like fairies tears. I could not even adjust the shower head as it was balanced precariously in its holder. I would have liked a blind in the bathroom window for some privacy as when I put the light on it was quite clear to see into the bathroom from the room/flat across the way. I could see their TV so they must have been able to see me. The TV had a very poor reception and the furniture was damaged. The room was ample in size and clean however. Thankfully I did not need to spend any time in there other than to sleep and get changed
