City Inn Express provided everything I needed for a comfortable two nights' stay. The room was clean and well-serviced. My only criticism was that the 'continental breakfast' left a lot to be desired. I would recommend the hotel for value for money

Being a two star London hotel, I did not expect any luxury. The room was welcoming, with a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities, bathroom, and a television set. I was quite disappointed with overall cleanliness of the hotel: room windows were very dirty and the bathroom had traces of hair from previous guests. Also, the hotel is quite close to the centre of London, but its location is not nice at all. To reach the hotel entrance you need to walk through what seems to be like an alley which is not at all welcoming. I would go to the same hotel if it was cheaper in price. I have been to nicer hotels and paid much less

Room was very small and toilet took some manoeuvring to sit on. Cooked breakfast was also a disappointment

Fantastic value for money. Travelled up for the Stone Roses gig it was ideal for us 5 lads. The rooms were clean and we also had free parking

The rooms at City Inn Express were basic but clean shower didn't work in my room. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. Ideal for an over night stay in London

Not to bad a room, bit of a lumpy bed, poor breakfast was expecting a lot more, nice staff

Off-street parking was a godsend, very quiet location, bed was clean and comfortable, bathroom was cramped but adequate, cooked breakfast did not include bacon or sausage, staff were friendly and efficient

Clean. Good heating. We really liked the fried eggs and toast at breakfast. Easy access to transportation. Close by restaurants, supermarkets and to a weight lifting gym. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Staff very friendly.

The hotel was basic, but clean and fit for purpose. A short overnight stay in London

The room was quite comfortable but lots of noise from outside traffic, etc. The two staff we met at the hotel were indeed very helpful. The breakfast was satisfying and reasonable.
