Receptionists were not helpful at all upon arrival. Bathroom is extremely small. The room had not been cleaned properly. There was dust, plus white bed linen was not clean. For all these reasons, room prices should be lower.

Friendly, clean and great value for money

City Inn Express was difficult to find but once there room clean but two small for two double beds. Room comfortable and clean staff friendly and helpful. Downside was a disappointing continental breakfast. Tea came with teabag in cup and jug of milk. When I asked for a teapot they didn't seem to know what a teapot was. There was toast and cereal and bananas and apples, tea coffee and orange juice. So not a proper continental breakfast. One thing to remember don't be put off when you get to Tudor Road as the rundown building you see is not the hotel which is behind that building. Area great for buses to town and local shops

I found the City Inn Express to be a clean and perfectly functioning place to stay. The staff were lovely, the room was basic but did the trick, and though some of the furniture seemed a bit oddly chosen, for a two-star establishment it exceeded my expectations. Location could be better

City Inn Express was very good

Entrance hard to find and initial thoughts were oh I hope it's ok, however the actual hotel rather than the entrance way was ok to look at. Once inside City Inn Express it was very nice, clean and welcoming. The rooms were great and the staff very kind and helpful

My 2 friends and I stayed for 2 nights at City Inn Express and we had no complaints at all. The room was basic but clean, shower was fine, bed was comfortable, the staff member on duty was absolutely lovely. He was very helpful and even moved my car out of a tight spot for me! I would not hesitate to book again. Thank you all very much
