The hotel was basic, but clean and fit for purpose. A short overnight stay in London

The room was quite comfortable but lots of noise from outside traffic, etc. The two staff we met at the hotel were indeed very helpful. The breakfast was satisfying and reasonable.

I stayed over Saturday night whilst going out in London with girlfriends. It's in a good location for drinking out in Shoreditch, and is great value for money as the hotel and room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was fine just a bit slow

Didn't expect much due to the low cost per night, but beds were quite unsatisfying and the restroom was freezing cold and a bit dirty and there was almost no water in the shower (lived on the third floor). The free WIFI did not reach to the third floor either. Although I'd say it's overall a good and cheap place if you just need roof over your head. The room was warm, and there was clean towels every day, so that's a good thing

The City Inn Express needs its rooms cleaning more often. I stayed there for 4 nights and the rooms were not cleaned at all. Apart from that, I had no problems.

The room at the City Inn Express was fine but quite basic. There was a strong smell of disinfectant (makes you wonder what it's hiding) but the room was fairly clean (if rather dusty). The staff are helpful and friendly

The location of the City Inn Express, for us, was perfect. The rooms were clean and completely adequate. Noise from other guests/traffic/drains was high. There was good service from the management, who were accommodating and helpful. The beds were rather hard and squeaky. All in all, we certainly got what we paid for and we went away happy!

Good: 1) It had 5 beds in the bedroom with a private bathroom. 2) The staff were friendly & helpful. 3) It was reasonably priced. Not good: 1) It was down a strange alley. 2) Limited parking 3) The beds were dirty 4) The bedroom facilities were limited 5) The cups and spoons at breakfast were not clean. Overall: I won't stay there again and do not recommend it.
