Great location. Good looking facility on the outside. Out of date, musty and a rip off on the inside

Very good value hostel; excellent location & cost. Needed some minor repairs to shower which leaked onto floor, and shower head was loose. Staff at check-in could express a bit more warmth. The room had 4 bunk beds, plus another 2 matresses squeezed into the room, by the basin. I would not want to use these as would expect to be disturbed by other guests in the room. Breakfast included but can't comment on it as I had breakfast in one of the many cafes nearby. Free unlimited WiFi in lobby ( maybe accessible in room, I didn't try). This place is fine if you get a good bed. Fridge in room. No lockers. With 6 people sleeping in the room the ventilation should be better

Terrible customer service, receptionist was making personal phone calls while dealing with us and was in no way friendly. Room had broken glass on the floor, bulb was blown, generally a bit dirty. Shower head in bathroom leaked such that it was not usable, along with there being no mount for the shower head. Again a bulb was blown. Breakfast consisted of milk that had been left out warming up since it opened, no fruit juice

Its location is brilliant in Central London. It's only only 10 minutes in the underground to Victoria Station. However, rooms are not very good. There was no cupboard, the room was very narrow, no TV, no telephone. But it is great value for money

For this rate I didn't expect more. Yes, I sleep in better hostels before, but also in worse. So: nothing special. But what is true: location is very good!

The location of the Acacia Hostel is brilliant, right next to the tube and Natural History Museum. The reception was fine and building looked good. It all went downhill in the room however, I wasn’t expecting much but I was expecting some degree of cleanliness. The room smelt awful, like an unclean fridge, there were flies everywhere and we were worried about sleeping in the bedding. An 8 bed room is 3 x bunk beds and an extra 2 mattresses on the floor. Very cheap and great location I admit, however I would not stay again simply due to the smell.

Very ordinary hotel for a low price, but have one advantage- placed in a very good place for tourists - just next to Natural History Museum and Science Museum. For this money You will not find a better accommodation

It’s good value for your money. The place is fairly nice, quiet and the check in time was suiting my journey from coach. The only disappointing time was on reception. I waited for 30mins knocking on the door and phoning reception number which was on the door as well without any response. Only to realise that people where sleeping in the reception room as if they were at their homes.

Very cheap and a very good position. For globe-trotter, not for posh people.

Acacia hostel is a very good place to stay for a few days. My room was not very comfortable and clean..(It fell into pieces...), but my friends' one is good. Maybe 8-16 people rooms are better than private rooms. Anyway it's in a beautiful position and near the underground station. And, without any doubt, London is a wonderful city!!! :)

I picked the hostel based on price and location. It certainly was well located at a very good price... however, it could have been cleaner in the general areas; the bathrooms had poor water flow and cold water in some cases. The basin in our room was blocked and full of water and unusable. While I would stay there again it would be purely based on price.

Very good location, that’s it. Cold showers, dirty and rude staff.

I did not like the stay at Acacia at all. This was the last time we stayed there. The rooms are very dirty and smell bad. The staff is not special nice. If things are defect nobody repairs them. There is no access to internet. I cannot recommend it.

Not very good place. The location is great. But the hostel itself has a lot of problems. The room you were in there is no proper heating. The bathrooms have no heating at all and the showers have very little hot water and the pressure is minimum.

Good staff, clean, and great price. Room a bit crowded but the low cost makes that understandable.

Very good location, good value for money generally, but bad heating and bad customer service on the night shift.

The infrastructure of the hotel is far from complete. The hotel is not yet fully furbished. There is no functional fridge or freezer. Very stingy staff who only serve toast, milk and cereal as breakfast. They put on a long face when you ask for more toast. There was no locker and the room was smelly which posed security concern. The launderette was locked from public use. The bathroom window had no curtain or blind people from across the street can easily look in. They put out a more acceptable facade but it's another story inside. We didn't feel the value. It's NOT recommended at all. The worst mistake I've ever made in my backpacking life.

Location is great. Showers are great. Breakfast is dismal, and it is not a self-catering kitchen as the fridge is unplugged, there are no dishes and the toaster is locked away. Staff are efficient but unfriendly - one word answers. Carpets are dirty and it felt unclean.

The best hostel I have stayed at and the cheapest. It was clean and the bathroom was within the shared room. I would go back.
