The acacia is a very nice cheap and cheerful hostel, very central, with friendly staff. It is currrently being renovated. They stop serving breakfast at 9.30, and they mean it!

"I liked and survieved the stay - yes it could be cleaner and yes the madresses could be softer. But location is the best... and at such a low price! The breackfast is poor - but we had toast and some cereal. The kitchen is dirty and have no plates or fork/knife.. so buy disposable cutlery at the very near store. We also bought some cleaning meterials for the toilet.. LOL... and borrowed the vaccum cleaner. heh. All in all a pleasant stay!"

Unfair really to rate Acacia Hostel London at this juncture as it is under extensive refubishment, and it needs it! The refurbishment was distruptive and not ideal to stay the least! Staff v friendly & location fabulous (i.e. beautiful area of kensington, with the natural history museum at the top of the street).
