Acacia Hostel London is ideally located for visits to the local museums in Kensington. You can also walk to Hyde Park from the hostel. Hyde Park is London's largest open space and combines beautiful gardens with a boating lake, art gallery and historic monuments. This is a very wealthy area of London, so there are plenty of upmarket boutiques close by, as well as more affordable high street shops. |

Me and a friend stayed for 4 nights. The room (with 2 beds and a sink with mirror) was ok. The beds were a bit hard, but they were comfy enough to fall asleep on. There was no TV on our room, and the sort of closet couldn't open. There was no aircon, so it was quite hot sometimes. The shared bathrooms (toilet, sink, shower and sometimes a mirror) are irritating. I tried 4 different showers and only one had a decent amount of water coming out of the shower head (the one next to room 11). The others were sometimes only dripping water..or the heat couldn't be regulated. Also, you had to clean the toilet and shower after using them, but there was no mopping rag or something. So the hairs on the ground were a bit nasty. As far as I know, there was no elevator, so the 5 stairs up to our room was a bit uncomfortable. You had to bring your own supplies to the kitchen to have breakfast, including knives etc. I thought it was inclusive, but maybe we were a bit late and all the food was gone. We didn't give it another try. The staff were nice. I'd say this is an OK hostel if you're watching your money and just want to spend the night and don't need luxury or comfort..and a nice, hard shower

It's located in South Kensington which is 2 minutes away from the underground station and from the bus station. It's even closer to National History Museum, which is 100 m away. Also,it's 5 minutes away from Hyde Park. The street is not so circulated because it's a one way street. The hotel is clean and generally ok. You can cook your own food in the kitchen of the hotel. But, there was no bathroom with a working light source. You had to see in the dark and that's not nice. Overall, I rate it with 5 stars out of 5 because of its position and because of it's price tag

Acacia Hotel is worth its rate. Do not expect a luxurious place. But the essential is there, as beds and bathroom are clean. Staff are not very welcoming. However, I will definitely go back. Hotel is very well located to move quickly to main museums, transport and parks

Place was a bit run down. Bad points: bathrooms and showers dirty and no way was I having one there. Place looking shabby and carpets threadbare. Continental breakfast was toast and instant coffee. Place served its purpose, bedding was clean and for £17 per night I guess you get what you pay for

The worst hostel, which I saw, especially room n.24. If you want to stay in London, rather try to find another hostel. Dirty, wet, mouldy, blankets were sweating and non-washed
