St Paul's Cathedral: A symbol of old London

St Paul's Cathedral towers above London, representing the old city among the new buildings in London's financial district. There was once a time when Sir Christopher Wren's architectural wonder could be seen for miles and even today the new Shard building, which will be Europe's tallest structure, is designed so that you can still see St Paul's Cathedral from afar.
