Quiet double room, clean and well presented. Excellent. Only issue is they only provided two pilliows for two sharing, but this could be down to me not requesting more. Can't wait to stay at Wardonia Hotel again. Highly recommended

We asked to move to another room because the first room allocated was underground and I was not feeling confortable. 4 nights underground without sun, no way. Nice view but room very small. Nice people at the reception

The staff upon arrival were friendly and polite, giving me all the information I required. The room itself was small, but had everything I required of it. The window opened either fully or not at all, meaning it was rather warm in the night, and I could hear people in adjacent rooms snoring, but for the location and the price I was very pleased with the overall standard of the room. Would stay again and recommend

The Wardonia Hotel is perfect if all you want is somewhere comfortable to lay your head after a busy day seeing the sights. Basic en-suite room but warm and clean with tea/coffee facilities, hair-dryer and TV. Excellent location in King's Cross (just across from KC station, St Pancras and Euston). Small 24 hr reception so you can come and go as you please anytime. Staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel was very quiet when we stayed (January). No restaurant but the hotel is two minutes away on foot from shops/cafés etc. Very pleased with the Wardonia and it served its purpose for us for the two nights we were there. Very good value. Nothing fancy; just a warm, clean and comfortable room. Clean towels and bedding each morning. For the price it's pretty good.

I stayed at the Wardonia for just I night. The hotel location in Argyle Street was perfect for my needs and close to all main underground and main line stations. I was very impressed with the level of of comfort for a budget hotel and for the type of accommodation I needed. The hotel staff were pleasant and also polite. The room was small but very well laid out for a single room. Everything I needed was there for a one night stay and would have been more content to stay there for longer. For the price I paid I certainly did not expect my own walk in shower, which I must add was so good I did not want to get out. The room was warm & very clean, with a hair-dryer, coffee & tea making facilities and even a flat screen TV. If I had to point out a couple of things that could make the stay even better I think a second pillow would be ideal, and the wash basin being small could do with the soap/glass shelf above it moving as it is hard to get near the sink. As I said earlier the walk in shower was a great touch - more like a power shower - although a little attention could be spent on the chrome shower hose which was not the cleanest. Easily missed, I guess. I was pleased that I was allowed to leave my belongings in the luggage room after I checked out and to collect later on the way home. So overall I would highly recommend the Wardonia Hotel. Great price for the level of service and in a nice location in Kings Cross considering how busy the area is. I would not hesitate to book the Wardonia again. Thank you.
