Basic room but clean, quiet, comfortable bed and a good shower - what more can you ask for

Budget, no nonsense hotel. Very small room but we were using it as a base only so that was of no concern. Clean, quiet and off the main road. Literally a 3 minute walk from Kings Cross Station and all the amenities you could ask for. No safe and the double bed was a bit too small so if you are on the large side I would ask for the size of the bed and you get one pillow each, which can keep you awake if your used to using two nice big fluffy pillows. En suite was excellent. There is a 24 hour reception and although we didn't have to really test the staff they were perfectly pleasant and our room was perfectly maintained. Could have done with more towels but to be honest it wasn't a problem and if you want to you could ask for more. All in all we were perfectly happy with our stay and have already agreed that when we go back we will stay there again and I will ask for another pillow and a bigger bed. (Maybe another towel too).

Warm room, a bit small, but ok, a small table and a drier were missed.
