Paul Millward (06 December 12)

I stayed at the Wardonia for just 1 night. The hotel location in Argyle Street was perfect for my needs and close to all main underground and main line stations. I was very impressed with the level of comfort for a budget hotel and for the type of accommodation I needed. The hotel staff were pleasant and also polite. The room was small but very well laid out for a single room. Everything I needed was there for a one night stay and would have been more content to stay there for longer. For the price I paid I certainly did not expect my own walk in shower, which I must add was so good I did not want to get out. The room was warm & very clean, with a hair-dryer, coffee & tea making facilities and even a flat screen TV. If I had to point out a couple of things that could make the stay even better I think a second pillow would be ideal, and the wash basin being small could do with the soap/glass shelf above it moving as it is hard to get near the sink. As I said earlier the walk in shower was a great touch - more like a power shower - although a little attention could be spent on the chrome shower hose which was not the cleanest. Easily missed, I guess. I was pleased that I was allowed to leave my belongings in the luggage room after I checked out and to collect later on the way home. So overall I would highly recommend the Wardonia Hotel. Great price for the level of service and in a nice location in Kings Cross considering how busy the area is. I would not hesitate to book the Wardonia again. Thank you.

Wardonia Hotel is very convenient to Kings Cross, but quiet. The receptionists were all very helpful. The rooms though small were very clean, as were the staircases and corridors. Grateful for tea, coffee etc. Would use again

This is the second time we have stayed at Wardonia Hotel as it is very close to Kings Cross station and St Pancras. The rooms are very clean, however they are very very small and the double rooms have a 3/4 bed in them. But it was the cheapest I could find next to the station.

This is the first time I've stayed at the Wardonia Hotel. It is good value for money if all you need is a comfy bed and shower, in a great central location, 3mins from Kings Cross St Pancras Station on a pleasant, quiet street. The rooms are very small, as previous reviews I'd seen had stated, but clean and smart

Wardonia Hotel is in a really good location, just 3 minutes walk from Kings Cross station. The hotel was comfortable and clean. Very small and basic but it serves its purpose if you're just looking for somewhere cheap and central to stay. Staff were really friendly and helpful also. Would stay there again as its great value for money

Very basic but clean. No little extras provided like tea and coffee in your room but Wardonia Hotel was perfect for somewhere to stay after a hen party in London. Staff were polite and friendly
