It was warm and comfortable and the telly worked. Staff were friendly. Room was tiny. Shame you can't get more for the money, but that's London

The room was clean and well maintained. It was also within easy reach of Kings Cross Tube Station. The only negatives were that you could not book in before 2 p.m. and the ensuite bathroom was very small. We would stay at Wardonia Hotel again

Really nice hotel, with small but comfortable rooms and amazing showers! The rooms are quite small and I wouldn't want to stay for more than a night or two, but great for short trips to the city, and a great price too

What a find! A nice central hotel at a great price. Sure the room was very basic but the bed was comfortable and there was an en suite toilet/shower room which was modern, well maintained and, most importantly, spotlessly clean. I don't know about others but when I visit another city I only use the hotel for sleeping and washing. This place is perfect! Next time I'm in London I'll definitely be staying there again. I probably shouldn't have said all this as I might struggle to get a room now

It was the fourth or fifth time that I've stayed there. I have always found the staff helpful and warm. The room is always clean and tidy. The toilet is also always clean and for the price I paid to be in the centre of London, I cannot complain

It was clean, quiet and very close to Kings Cross Station. I, not being a Londoner, needed somewhere close to the station and you cant get much closer than Argyle Street. The room was very very cheap so I was not expecting Egyptian cotton and chandeliers. I was there for one night so it was perfectly suitable. If I was going for spend more time in London I would not stay there. There did not seem to be anywhere to buy even a packet of crisps or bottle of water on the premises. The staff were friendly and helpful. If someone wants literally somewhere clean to sleep for one night close to Kings Cross Station this hotel is fine especially considering the state of some of its local rivals

The location was convenient, as it was only a 2 minute walk from Kings Cross station. It was a no frills service, as only a bedroom was provided with no catering or other facilities included. There was also no internet access, which was a little annoying. However, if you just wanted somewhere to stay for 2-3 nights without any extras, then I would recommend it

Wardonia Hotel London is in a nice quiet location but still close to King's Cross St Pancras. The room was clean and warm if a little on the small side. This is a reasonable hotel for an overnight or stay

Very small room but clean and adequate only one flight up and with very good ensuite shower room which was a bargain for the price. Very basic, only one pillow, no tea/coffee facilities or lamp but if you're only going to be in the room to shower and sleep and only for a short stay then it's fine. Very strong smell of stale fried food the first night, not sure from where (no kitchen in hotel, it's room only, no breakfast) but with the window left open all day, it wasn't there the second night. It would have been good to have been able to secure the window open just a few inches so that it could have been left open all night
