Our room was compact but perfect for our needs although it would have benefited from NOT having a set of rather tatty bunkbeds in with the 2 single beds. Tea and coffee making items were in the room but it did take 45 minutes to aquire the illusive kettle which had to be plugged in between the beds due to the lay out of the plugs in the room. We also had to request an ariel for the elderly portable tv, a waste paper bin and a hair dryer. The bathroom was well fitted, clean, spacious and the shower and bath filled quickly with plenty of hot water. (Would have been nice to have a plug for the washhand basin as there was no grill and I lost my tooth brush down it for some minutes). The staff were friendly, the main building was tidy and clean but the lift to the 5th floor restaurant was small and very VERY slow. The continental breakfast consisted of white or brown bread for toasting, jam, butter and cereals. Apple or orange juice were available along with machine despensed tea and coffee. The room was cleaned and tidied whilst we were out and the tea making stuff replenished and the (thankfully comfy) beds were made. All in all, if u are looking for an inexpensive hotel for a visit to London (40 minutes by bus), I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Queen's despite my above complaints. (well little niggles really)

Hotel is in a prime location for trains into London. Free Parking fabulous. Hotel staff friendly helpful and polite. Hotel room clean tidy. Tv didn't work because of the aeiral not very good but that didnt matter, had a fridge in the family room and sink also a hob but no saucepans. Continental breakfast help yourself to cereals and toast. Really had a fabulous time

I came in from France, The hotel is good but the internet it is surprising to have a hotel of such standard without internet wifi in the rooms. The breakfast is fine

Room was clean which is all we wanted. You can't complain much when you only pay £21 a night for a hotel in London. You get what you pay for. Staff helpful and would go back again if I was on a budget

Got what we paid for! Pay peanuts for a hotel room near London then you expect and get peanuts. In fairness to the hotel we only stayed for the 1 night. The room was clean and did us for the night. Very busy at breakfast and didn't seem to have the room to cope. This hotel is a perfect location if your planing to go to a Crystal Palace Athletic event (as we did) as it is only a 15min walk to the Stadium
