That was my 5th or 6th expierence with this hotel - since it was called Rama Hotel, Pimlico Inn later and Pimlico Inn only technically for now. Since there happened staff change, something happened with this beautiful place. Beautiful - I mean because of location and this minimum what I always need to visit London - bed, normal room and breakfast. Guys who worked in Rama Hotel and Pimlico Inn recognised me and that was really awesome! Nobody`s asked me for extra charge for payment by credit card, because I became a regular client - that`s truth, because out of my business trips, for all vacations I always choose Rama/Pimlico. And we never had any problems until this last time. That was really hot days in London and we`ve got small, claustrophobical double room under the roof on the 5th floor. There was hot like hell and when we returned in the night, there was unbearable heat. I asked a guy (new staff) in reception to change this room - that was impossible - hotel was full. And few minutes later I found that warmer in my room was turned on. In summer day, when London has 25C? I went to guy in reception and he gave me duckbill pliers. Client has to fix anything in his room by self? I said I`ll go to looking for other hotel, but I didn't find on this street any available hotel. When I asked to change my room again, guy from reception fixed this warmer - turned it off and promised to change room tomorrow. And I promised never returned in this hotel. This night was nightmare with heat and terrible noise beyond the wall - water in the pipes or something. Next day our room was changed to really good, but it`s only because of my insistence. I really don`t know about returning in Pimlico Inn next time. I understand - that`s a budget hotel, but there must be some limit, because I never had any problems before and always was happy with all

The hotel had work improvements. There was a bit of noise but the staff apologised at the moment of my arrival for that. The receptionist was very polite and communicative

I was surprised how much I enjoyed it seeing as I didn't have high expectations. It did just right

Generally OK. I booked for a double bed room but had to stay in a twin bedroom. We didnt have a kettle to make tea etc and it was quite noisy in the morning with people working next to the room.

Very cheap. Great location. Nice welcome at desk. If you need a cheap overnight stay though it does do the job! The staff are trying hard and I think the refurbishment will do it good.
