This was a very basic hotel and looked shabby although it did seem clean. There was also no lift and we were on the 7th floor. The sink leaked and the bathroom light went off when we were in the shower. The room and shower were tiny. Breakfast was minimal and chaotic with closely packed tables and we were only offered 2 pieces of toast each although there was juice, cereal and hot drinks. Staff were curteous

We stayed here on the 2nd of Cctober to 5th 2010. On the first day we got there we couldn't find it because it didnt have the name Pimlico Inn on the outside. We were lucky we went in to see if they knew where it was and to our suprise they said we were in it. So when we walked in the first thought that came to mind was wow the reception was lovely. Then we went to our room and that was a totally different story. They had put 2 double beds in a small room. There wasn't much space at all. The window would not open so we had to keep it open with the bin out of the bathroom. We decided we would ask to swap rooms the day after, the man at the desk said we could but we would have to clean and change the bedding ourself if we wanted to move. We were desperate at this point so we agreed. We did it and I wouldnt of minded but we did a better job than their cleaners. The worst part about it was it was a total waste of time because he came in and re-did it. The room we swapped to was a lot better, they had a fan so that helped with the heat. I would never stay here again but I do have to say the little old man at the desk is lovely. I just wish instead of doing the reception up they would do the rooms up and maybe put air con in there

The Pimlico Inn is actually callled the Lidos Hotel, some of the rooms are high level and almost impossible to carry luggage up the stairs, some rooms had stains on the carpet and in poor repair with sloping floors. Breakfast consisted of toast and cereal. The rooms were freezing cold with no heating. I would only recommend this hotel as a last resort

I had a tiny but clean and nice room with private shower. The toilet in the hall was very clean. The staff was nice. At this price, I would definitely come back

That was my 5th or 6th expierence with this hotel - since it was called Rama Hotel, Pimlico Inn later and Pimlico Inn only technically for now. Since there happened staff change, something happened with this beautiful place. Beautiful - I mean because of location and this minimum what I always need to visit London - bed, normal room and breakfast. Guys who worked in Rama Hotel and Pimlico Inn recognised me and that was really awesome! Nobody`s asked me for extra charge for payment by credit card, because I became a regular client - that`s truth, because out of my business trips, for all vacations I always choose Rama/Pimlico. And we never had any problems until this last time. That was really hot days in London and we`ve got small, claustrophobical double room under the roof on the 5th floor. There was hot like hell and when we returned in the night, there was unbearable heat. I asked a guy (new staff) in reception to change this room - that was impossible - hotel was full. And few minutes later I found that warmer in my room was turned on. In summer day, when London has 25C? I went to guy in reception and he gave me duckbill pliers. Client has to fix anything in his room by self? I said I`ll go to looking for other hotel, but I didn't find on this street any available hotel. When I asked to change my room again, guy from reception fixed this warmer - turned it off and promised to change room tomorrow. And I promised never returned in this hotel. This night was nightmare with heat and terrible noise beyond the wall - water in the pipes or something. Next day our room was changed to really good, but it`s only because of my insistence. I really don`t know about returning in Pimlico Inn next time. I understand - that`s a budget hotel, but there must be some limit, because I never had any problems before and always was happy with all

The hotel had work improvements. There was a bit of noise but the staff apologised at the moment of my arrival for that. The receptionist was very polite and communicative

I was surprised how much I enjoyed it seeing as I didn't have high expectations. It did just right

Generally OK. I booked for a double bed room but had to stay in a twin bedroom. We didnt have a kettle to make tea etc and it was quite noisy in the morning with people working next to the room.

Very cheap. Great location. Nice welcome at desk. If you need a cheap overnight stay though it does do the job! The staff are trying hard and I think the refurbishment will do it good.

Service is fine, room is clean, but the so called en suite triple room I booked is ridiculously small which just barely fits a double bed and a foldable little bed, almost no room to fit our two suitcases.
