You'll not find many better bargains than here, so close to the centre of London. Single room was microscopic, and the shared bathroom did not appear to have been cleaned all week (though it was spotless when I arrived). Other than that everything was great at Old Friend Hotel
Quiet, courteous and well-equipped for the price. The outside courtyard would be a great amenity in summer
A strange little place, accessed via a door between two shops on bustling Roman Road. Once inside, quite tidy, staff friendly without being talkative. Room small but clean; bed clean and very comfortable. Walls paper-thin and I was next to bathroom which appeared to be shared by more than two rooms. I was only in London for one night so the hotel suited me fine, but for a longer stay I would look for somewhere quieter
Old Friend Hotel is good value for money
I think it was really good for that money! Clean, friendly. Much better breakfast than expected. Sharing bathroom no problem, also clean. Only minus there, was that the shower didn't stay up on the stand. Except for that, very good
