Mclays Guest House provided excellent service and had a nice room. I would recommend this to anybody who wants a good quality budget room.

The McLays Guest House is Great value - the room was perfectly clean and acceptable, and a fantastic, big, cooked breakfast was included in the price. The staff can be a little brusque, but it was worth it for the breakfast, price and convenient location!

Had a lovely stay at Mclays Guest House. All the staff were wonderful friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble.You get what you pay for, so there can be no complaints. Food was great, room fine even had Sky never had that before even having paid an awful lot more money for B and Bs

Comfortable shower with big bath tub, big bed and especially very friendly staff!!

Quite a handy location. Buildings old rabbit warren, tired, but freshly painted. Room 93 up too many awkward stairs, no lift to carry heavy suitcases. Breakfast was very good. Internet confined to dining room where temperature was uncomfortably hot.

The staff were polite and lovely. Breakfast was superb, a great start to my long days. The room was clean, with no trace of bugs (I always look), and I would definitely book Mclays Guest House again. My only problem was the dodgy internet service, which cut out every now and again and was only available in one room

Mclays Guesthouse was situated close to town centre and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served and was very nice, plus reception got us taxi to airport at cheaper price than airport taxi. Room was basic and had a shared bathroom, but for overnight stay would higly recommend

I have just had a most enjoyable stay at Mclays Guest House. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were tasty and ample to take one through the day. An added advantage is the proximity to the town centre and so many eating places

Cheap and basic accomodation within 10-min walking distance to the city centre. The room and shared bathrooms were clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. The only drawback maybe is the single- glazed windows which admit a lot of noice coming from the road and nearby club. But all in all, I would definitely recommend this BnB to others
