The staff are the stars of this comfortable guest house and the breakfast was super. The room was comfortable and clean as was the en suite

Rather disappointing. Our room was tiny, with no view, the furniture was tatty and the floor tiles in the bathroom were loose. The dining room was very cramped, although the staff were friendly and the breakfast was fine. On-street parking only and expensive at £6 per day or 50p per 30 minutes

Very close to city centre with all the benefits that has. Hotel itself is a bit run down. Small room (was obviously previously a single) with a double bed shoe-horned in, lumpy bed, and mediocre breakfast. However it was clean. Parking is on street with a voucher system - £2 per third of a day. Vouchers available at the hotel. Be quick booking in or leave someone with the car until you get your voucher. The green meanies (Traffic Wardens) nearly got a guy who arrived just after me. Being in the city centre means you might not get parking near to the hotel too. I'm not fussy and I usually go on camping holidays, however I think the overal score for this hotel is far to high for what you actually get. However if you are looking for a cheap room right in te centre of the city then it might be for you

We will be back
