Lord Kensington Hotel Reviews page 3
Hotel was clean and personnel was friendly. About 2 blocks from Tube station. Away from street noise but you could hear the trains and station announcements. Ask for a room above 1st floor. There is a lift. Reasonable value
The Hotel is conveniently close to Earls Court station and the restaurants and shops, but thats it I'm afraid. The lack of maintenance and thourough cleanliness is apparent.
Rooms were clean, adequate for needs. Bathrooms were small, the sink was too small, but very clean. Breakfast was limited but adequate. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Would stay here again.
Positive: - Located close to Earls Court station - Lift - Breakfest was OK Negative: - Beds were small and hard - Room was small - No WiFi
The room was - clean and okay for what we needed, though I'm sure it wasn't a full sized double bed. Bathroom was small and room was right next to the lift so very noisy. When we went down for breakfast in the morning, there was not enough room for us to sit - and a result, we had to take our breakfast back to our rooms (even though there was a family finished and talking - the staff made no effort to move these on and clear some space!)
Hotel is OK. Do not expect a masterpiece, because the rooms are really tiny, 2-bed with 1 side against the wall and breakfast is minimal. But friendly staff (eggs cooked on request etc), clean bathroom, quiet hotel, quiet street (ask for a room facing the street) and 1 minute walk from Earl's Court Underground, which gives a good connection with the city centre. Most attractions are within 15 minutes by subway to reach. Choose a travel card that works for subway and all buses. £5-6 for all day unlimited travel!
The hotel is lovely and quiet. The bedroom and bathroom are a bit small but on the whole it was quite good. The breakfast was a bit limited though
The double room that I booked was extremely tiny. The room services were very poor. The quality of the breakfast was unsatisfactory. Overall the stay in the hotel was very unpleasant
Perfectly acceptable as a short stay B and B. Room was small but bedding clean and towels replaced daily. Adequate continental breakfast, staff friendly and helpful. Only real drawback to this place is it`s proximity to tube station. Back of hotel overlooks Earls Court overground tube and it was noisy at night, we were unable to sleep with window open - but a fan was provided
Very nice and clean but a little bit pricey. Should not charge for the internet considering the price and parking would be an advantage as I had a fine for parking outside after 9pm
