If you are looking for a basic, clean place to lay ur head, then the Lidos is ideal. Staff were friendly, however we were a little bemused as we couldn't pay by credit or debit card even though it was advertised behind the counter and then when we paid by cash, the notes were questioned slightly, as we are from Northern Ireland. Once it was explained they were legal tender and sterling, the man was fine. He was very pleasant and in no way rude about the matter! But Northern Irish folk are faced with the same issue in most mainland places! After out 1st night, staff came to clean the room and gave us fresh towels which was great! We didn't avail of the breakfast so I cannot comment on that! Definitely stay here again when in London Victoria.

We stayed at the Lidos in a family room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside to the room was a very deep step into the bathroom and very wobbly wardrobe which had the tea making on top. Breakfast was adequate for what we paid. Staff were friendly.

Very close to Victoria with a handy bus stop outside. Breakfast was O.k. but basic, cereal, bread and jam/marmalade, tea/coffee and orange juice, served in a clean room by nice staff. We had room 20 which was on the top floor with 80+ steps! very small with just a double bed and bedside cupboard and shower with small basin. Shower head had a split in and the shower curtain was 1 foot off the ground so water ran all over the floor. Room so tiny you couldn't open the room door if you opened the shower door. On the landing you couldn't open your door if the people in the next room was opening theirs. We only had one curtain and when complained they bought another odd one that was looped up with 2 hooks. Don't know what the other rooms were like but this was in desperate need of a renevation and wasn't worth the money even if it was fairly cheap. The loo was on the next floor down. We have had better camping sites!

Very basic and small room, however sufficient and everything we needed! Brilliant location and very friendly staff. Breakfast okay, not bad for free!
