We booked a 1-star and got what we paid for at the Lidos Hotel. The room we had booked for 3 of us was downstairs and was spacious enough.

Clean and tidy. Adequate for short stays. Quite small room, but for the time we were in it, it was fine. Very good location for reasonably short walks to riverside and other attractions. Breakfast room was a bit like a works canteen. Help yourself to all thats there, which was cereal, toast, yoghurts and drinks from a machine. All very basic, but for the short stay the Lidos Hotel is fine

Lidos Hotel was fine for our needs. They were in the middle of refurbishing - our room had been newly decorated. En suite shower. Drink making facilities though could have replenished the tea bags. Breakfast was adequate. I would recommend this hotel in London to others if low cost stay was needed. When refurbised it will change a slighty tatty stairs area into a great hotel. All the staff from the various receptionists to the breakfast staff were all really helpful and pleasant. Would stay at the Lidos Hotel again

Lidos Hotel is a great place to stay. Room was very clean and bathroom was newly fitted, very pleasant and helpful staff. Very central, close to the centre of London. We had a room for 5 people: 3 adults and two children, the room was perfect. Breakfast was excellent and could not find anything to complain about. When we needed something we asked reception and it was supplied by our return to the hotel. Will recommend the Lidos Hotel to anyone, price was good compared to other London hotels

Very small room, but clean. Unheated bathroom which was not very convenient in winter. Continental breakfast - you only get the basics - bread, butter and jam. Might be good for students though. GBP 35.00 per night is quite a lot

First room had faulty radiator and broken toilet. Moved after five days to a much nicer room
