Hotel is a 10 min walk from the Victoria Train Station. No lift in the hotel so you might need to carry your heavy luggage up a maximum of 4 floors. Our double room was quite big with a queen size bed and a single bed joined together. The ensuite toilet and bathroom was ok and the staff was ok as well. Didn't get to try the breakfast though as we had to check out early

Fairly clean, food and staff good, health and safety poor, fire exits blocked, hairdryer dangerous hole burnt on outside. Location five mins from Victoria station/tube very central good reasonable price

If you are looking for a basic, clean place to lay ur head, then the Lidos is ideal. Staff were friendly, however we were a little bemused as we couldn't pay by credit or debit card even though it was advertised behind the counter and then when we paid by cash, the notes were questioned slightly, as we are from Northern Ireland. Once it was explained they were legal tender and sterling, the man was fine. He was very pleasant and in no way rude about the matter! But Northern Irish folk are faced with the same issue in most mainland places! After out 1st night, staff came to clean the room and gave us fresh towels which was great! We didn't avail of the breakfast so I cannot comment on that! Definitely stay here again when in London Victoria.

We stayed at the Lidos in a family room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside to the room was a very deep step into the bathroom and very wobbly wardrobe which had the tea making on top. Breakfast was adequate for what we paid. Staff were friendly.

Very basic and small room, however sufficient and everything we needed! Brilliant location and very friendly staff. Breakfast okay, not bad for free!

The hotel lived up to what we expected. The location was great, the maid service satisfactory (they could have included a face cloth though), the breakfast was good and the service was good as well

A very basic and simple hotel for short stay. We were in a family room in the basement, right next to the dinning and kitchen room and the breakfast was very good and simple. Cereal, fruit and nuts, cornflakes, coffee, tea and toast, butter, and jam eat as much as you like because you need it lot energy for touring around London. staff are hard workers.

Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms are basic but more importantly clean. Limited space in the toilet/shower ensuite

I am dissatisfied with the fact lift is not available. Guests have to climb up the stairs up to 5 or 6th floor. The room's toilet is rather old and that makes it look dirty. My room wasn't properly cleaned. However, considering the price that is offered, I would tolerate these issues except cleanliness

We booked a 1-star and got what we paid for. The room we had booked for 3 of us was downstairs and was spacious enough. However, the shower curtain didn't reach the base of the shower and consequently the bathroom was prone to flooding. This explained the evidence of damp around the walls behind the beds. Other than that the rooms were clean and tidy. However, the staff were all really friendly and helpful and the location is excellent - you can walk to almost all the sites, and if you catch the bus it stops outside the hotel. All in all, if you are working on a tight budget it is worth a look
