Pleasant enough hotel - an upmarket backpackers sort of place, value for money, well situated for Victoria and local amenities

Stay was fine. Room for two was a decent size, clean towels and linen and good shower. Generally the room needed a bit of renovation, but it was fine and a decent size - perfectly adequate. They were able to look after my bag when I was out at meetings. Staff were helpful. Lobby good. Didn't do breakfast so can't comment. But generally good value

The refurbished room and bathroom was pleasant and had I not come out in a rash 2days after staying then I would have left a much higher score

More of a one star than two star B&B. Great location, but the room was very ordinary. Attic room with slanted floor and smelly bathroom. I have stayed in another one star B&B in Victoria for less money and in better condition than the Hanover
