Grove Hill Hotel was basic but clean, breakfast good. For the price no grumbles

Not near any tourist place in London but convenient if you want to be in South Woodford. Clean decent room with a wash basin in a clean family run small hotel. Everything was ok at Grove Hill Hotel for the price paid

Friendly service at Grove Hill Hotel, clean and warm bed, bathroom and linen. Good breakfast. Quiet area so felt safe (solo traveller) and although the carpet worn in hall and decor bit tired, was all I needed for 4 nights

I booked Grove Hill Hotel for 3 nights for my dad who was staying over for a family event. It was perfect. He didn't stop saying how good the hotel was and he loved the breakfast. Much cheaper and more local than all other hotels to South Woodford

A very nice and clean London hotel! Everything I can recommend: room, bed, shower, breakfast! I will book Grove Hill Hotel again! About 1/2h tube into the city, 10 minutes walk to the tube. And in the middle of the way a wonderful pub, George!
