Attractions |

South Woodford, where Grove Hill Hotel is located, is residential, so don’t expect the area to be crammed with attractions. However, you will find plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and popular markets on nearby George Lane. You will also find it easy to access beautiful Epping Forest. When you want to head into Central London, hop on a tube on the Central Line; you can get to Liverpool Street Station in 20 minutes. West End theatres and the shops of Oxford Street are a mere 30 minutes away too! |

The rooms are small but if you look for a place to sleep and have breakfast for cheap price this is perfect as it is clean. I called the day before my check in to let them know that I would be there around 7pm rather than morning. When I checked- in I was told off by the girl at the reception because she did not know I was coming late!! So I was not polite either to her and anyway I found it not professional at all. I'll be back to London for business and I definitely will be back here!

I just stayed in the hotel for one night and it was a very good experience. As opposed to what I gathered from some of the reviews that the toilets are not very clean, I found them to be extremely clean; perhaps they were recently renovated keeping the earlier views in mind. The room however, was very small, although it had all the necessary things like a comfortable bed, washbasin, tv, radio, cupboard and a kettle (to make tea or coffee for yourself). The breakfast was also good with quick service. Good value for money

The accomodation was clean and tidy, very quite and basic, value for money. However, the receptionist was unfriendly and unhelpful
