My stay at Durham Castle was ideal. The location was perfect for my meetings at the university and for my personal touring of the city. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast (being buffet style) was just what I needed an no more. I would highly recommend this accommodation for any summer traveler passing through Durham

Durham Castle Reviews
A very pleasant stay. The reception was friendly, the room was neat and comfortable and the facilities perfectly adequate. The mattress could have done with replacing, the window needed a clean and I missed having a wifi connection, but the excellent breakfast and magical location of Durham Castle made up for that
Everything was great at Durham Castle. Beautiful view, nice room, tidy. Loved the biscuits. The breakfast was great, great variety and quality and the tour was incredible. The receptionist was polite and helpful. Overall a fantastic weekend thank you very much
Breakfast was good at Durham Castle. Room was basic but clean and the castle was very interesting and convenient for the town. Unfortunately our room was above either an extractor unit or generator so it was not possble to have the window open. That and the very hard bed ensured we had a very hot and uncomfortable night
Great location, comfortable room and relaxed breakfast at Durham Castle
