I was rather disappointed with the accommodation - for starters we seemed to have a back room that didn't resemble anything like what was submitted on the internet, the TV didn't work and there was no remote control to try and tune it in, the hair drier didn't work and as we were so close to the tube, everything shook every fifteen minutes or so. Admittedly this latter point was probably down to me being a bit naive and not taking into account these things when living in London. Our continental breakfast consisted of tea/coffee, toast, cereal and orange juice which isn't really what I class as continental. Overall I was pretty disappointed

Location was very good. very beautiful area, very charming. However, there was quite a big noise of subway. The breakfast was just a toast and coffee. I was quite disappointed (I was expecting something very British). All the furniture were pretty old and getting to be a bit dirty. They might want to change some

We really enjoyed our stay - friendly service, generously sized room with good facilities, fabulous location right in the heart of Notting Hill but in a quiet square so not disturbed at night - really recommend.

Try and request a room as high up as you can if you stay in the Bluebells Hotel. The lower down rooms were complaining about the noise of the underground when we arrived (we were lucky to not hear it). I'd come back if I wanted a good enough hotel in a brilliant location in London
