The hotel is clean and the position is fantastic. The room didn't look very nice but it was not a problem since we stayed there only for two nights

Great location for trips to centre of London. Not particularly a great hotel, we stayed on top floor and hot water was an issue. Cold room also due to radiators not working properly. Not too bad considering the cheapness

Great location, near the city centre, many pubs and bistros near by and yes, you will hear the underground, but it did not upset us, we were a group of five

Well located with Portobello Road Market and the tube station very close. There was a good breakfast available

We were very happy to be so near to Central London. The Hotel was basic, and the Linen and towels clean. The room we had was not to my liking .We were in the Basement and I felt claustrophobic. It was hot and stuffy, even with the window open. There were tea and coffee making facilities, but were not topped up for our second night stay. Luckily we were able to buy tea and milk in a shop. The plughole in the bathroom sink was blocked. And was very slow draining. Even with the tap on for a second was enough for the water in the pipe to back up into the sink. We used the bath taps to brush teeth etc. The room didn`t have a bedside light and we had to keep the bathroom night on all night so we could see where we were going. The wardrobe was unsteady and and fell over with a slight brush against it. The glass shelf above the washbasin is very precarious, and it wouldn`t take much to mend. The carpet in the dining room was very dirty, although the rest of the breakfast area was good, bright and clean. The breakfast was good, with plenty of beverages and cereals etc. There is a feeling of slight disrepair in the rooms we saw,and it would not take much to "tidy up" The staff were polite, but a little indifferent. Over all ,for the location and price it was a very good bargain. If it were advertised as a hostel, you would feel that you had struck gold, as it was more hostel standard. The place was packed every night which means that it is a popular choice. Having said a couple of moans, we would go back and also recommend it

Location was very good. very beautiful area, very charming. However, there was quite a big noise of subway. The breakfast was just a toast and coffee. I was quite disappointed (I was expecting something very British). All the furniture were pretty old and getting to be a bit dirty. They might want to change some

We really enjoyed our stay - friendly service, generously sized room with good facilities, fabulous location right in the heart of Notting Hill but in a quiet square so not disturbed at night - really recommend.

Try and request a room as high up as you can if you stay in the Bluebells Hotel. The lower down rooms were complaining about the noise of the underground when we arrived (we were lucky to not hear it). I'd come back if I wanted a good enough hotel in a brilliant location in London

Nothing about the Bluebells Hotel was amazing, except where it's located. Other than that, everything was ok: the rooms, clean and plain, the staff, friendly enough, the breakfast ok but slow.. etc
