Stayed at the Belmont Astoria at the beginning of December in a sub zero double room, no heating. Promise of another room the next day. Given another room that evening which was excellent. Staff were more than helpful and the breakfast was very good

This was the second time and probably the last at this hotel. It was not possible to sleep all 3 nights that I spent there as people are so loud and there is no way you can't hear even if someone is talking normally. The cup I got in my room was a little white from the inside with some black points of dirt and the outside was already yellow because I guess have never been washed before. Though I asked if the cleaner could clean up the toilet again and she did, what was less bad then. The smell and noise from the breakfast in the early morning is disgusting and unsupportable. Unfortunately, it was very different from the first time we stayed there

We had to defer our stay in London because we were snowed in. However, if the service we get at the Belmont and Astoria Hotel is as good as that when I had to re-arrange our stay, we shall be absolutely delighted. They were understanding of our predicament and extremely helpful. First Class service.
