We stayed three nights and found the Belmont and Astoria hotel to be very clean and the staff friendly and polite. Our room was on the small size but we got good value for money. Also the location was superb, you can be in all the sightseeing areas and the West End in 30 minutes. Would definitely go back

Good value. Pleasant small but clean room. New shower unit very efficient. Helpful staff. Didn't take English breakfast included in the price because the room was full and we didn't want to wait, but they were cooking it on the spot and it looked good

Very clean and friendly hotel. Only 10 minutes walk from Hyde Park and 5 minutes from tubes and 2 minutes from very regular bus routes

OK hotel stay for a few nights in London. The breakfast was traditional English and was very good

The hotel was very clean and the desk staff were extremely pleasant and courteous. We enjoyed the cooked breakfast and the breakfast service was very efficient and the staff polite. The room was small but adequate for a short stay. It was good value for money

On the whole it was good. The staff were friendly, the room adequate, although the bed was rather small - less than a double. The breakfast was ample and well cooked. One problem was the front door, sometimes locked and no-one in reception, so that we were locked out for about ten minutes on one occasion

This hotel in London is very clean, English breakfast good, very helpful staff. Excellent for tubes, and about 20mins walk from Marble Arch. Would stay there again. One warning for those not in peak condition! Some rooms are up 4 flights of stairs

Just one point: The towels were too less and too small. For two persons not enough
