Barkston Rooms Reviews
The room was new and on the whole okay but there were nonetheless a few problems that could easily be solved. The mattress was awful and the door could not close properly because the door frame was not large enough. There was also a big hole in the bathroom door (possibly made for a mini metal gate?) So you go there with a mere acquaintance, that could be a bit awkward! Breakfast was not extraodinary but average. I mean, alright for the price we paid
The employees in this London hostel were very kind and available day and night. The rooms and toilets were cleaned every day and the hostel has a very good central position. Unfortunately not all rooms were well renovated so far
Barkston Rooms had clean beds and a clean kitchen area to prepare my food in! I didn't use the showers but heard that they were decent! Would definitely book again; cheap, clean, not too noisy, decent staff - can't go wrong really!
Well, the hostel was in a really beautiful place, but far from everything and it was hard to find it. The staff was helpful. I wasn't happy with the rooms. I stayed in an 8 bedded room, but the beds weren't the same. So over my bed the other bed was really low, so I can't sit up, maybe for a child or a very small person it's okay, but for me, not. Anyway, the other 2 bed were higher, that's why I don't understand, why cou,dn'tbe the all beds the same. The breakfast was okay
