Barkston Rooms Reviews
Barkston Rooms is a convenient place, good reception, clean bedding, however bathroom is not good
The Barkston Rooms was one was highly economical. The room was completely good to stay. We enjoyed it, recommended.
Barkston Rooms is very near the tube station, only a 5 minute walk. It is a rather spartan, utilitarian affair similar to a Victorian hospital. The room was plain but spotless with whiter than white sheets, quilts etc, all in good condition as were the bunks. The breakfast/tv room was spacious and airy, modern. The spiral staircase, something out of a movie winds upwards but there is no lift. If you are in town for a night or are under 25 and want a clean, cheap place to spend a few days and perhaps even make some friends. I recommend this hostel. Cosy, it certainly is not but basic, clean central and cheap it is
I like Barkston Rooms very much. It is clean and staff are pleasant. Just put mirrors in toilets
