Location of Barkston Rooms is brilliant, staff friendly and helpful, room what I have was clean enough but need improvement, I can't argue to much that was budget deal

Can't pick a better place to stay than Barkton Rooms, though do mention if you're planning to arrive with luggage because they've got lots of stairs

The room at Barkton Rooms was really great, bed and sheets were comfortable. The staff was really grumpy. I'd appreciate being informed ahead that there weren't free towels and that the luggage room was paid. I still would come back, prepared for the grumpyness and the unavailability of towel since the place was good and well located

Loved this hostel! It was perfect for everything that we needed- we actually booked two beds in a four-bedroom room and ended up getting our own room with a bunkbed which was perfect. Our room had our own sink and huge windows with a beautiful view onto the street. The breakfast was adequate (toast and jam and nutella and coffee and milk and cereal) and the service was great too- always someone at the front desk to help us out. The location was just perfect as well- right around the corner from the tube station and a wide variety of restaurants, pubs, bakeries, grocery store, tourist shop, fast food, etc and most importantly in a good neighborhood- I felt safe for my entire four days there. Thank you Barkston rooms and your contribution to making my London experience one of the best! This hostel is highly recommended

One of the best hostel in London located in a great area, zone 1, best prices, with many supermarkets around. Friendly staff - professional, nice reception, spacious rooms, good bathrooms and showers, clean, large bunk beds (2) w/h usb and light, large windows, TV lounge, key cards
