Bankside House offers a sociable and affordable place to stay. It has a great range of facilities like a lively bar, games room, TV lounge, launderette, and pay as you go internet terminals, all in one amazing location. Stay here on the South Bank of the River Thames, just behind the Tate Modern, and you'll find attractions like Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and The London Dungeon within easy reach. As Bankside House offers single, twin, triple and quad rooms, you can stay here whether you’re travelling alone, with friends, or with family. You will find that most of the bedrooms here have ensuite shower rooms. However if money is tight you can opt for a single room which shares the bathroom with just one other room. Whatever room you choose, you will find a bed, desk and wardrobe inside, as well as really useful amenities like tea and coffee making equipment.

Bankside House is just behind the Tate Modern in Bankside, so this is the first place you should visit. You should also take the spectacular Thames-side South Bank walk, or stroll to attractions like Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Clink Prison Museum, Southwark Cathedral and the London Eye. Take a walk across one of the River Thames bridges and you’ll be able to explore places like the Tower of London and St Paul’s Cathedral. There’s plenty of trendy waterside restaurants and pubs nearby too.

If you arrive before check in at Bankside House, you can leave your bags at reception. If you will be arriving after 6pm, notify the accommodation in advance as reception closes at 11pm. The security staff can check you in and give you your 24 hour access security card.You have a choice of full English or continental breakfast at Bankside House, served from 7.30am to 10am.
Bed linen and towels are supplied and changed every 3 days. Your room is cleaned daily and your waste bin emptied.
There are a limited number of parking spaces available.

- To get to Bankside House on the tube you should travel on the Jubilee line, get off at Southwark Tube Station and follow the by foot directions below.
- On Foot:
- Once you arrive at Southwark Tube Station, you should exit onto Blackfriars Road and turn to your left. Take your 4th right into Southwark Street, turn left into Great Guilford Street and left into Sumner Street. This is where Bankside House is located.

Well, nothing to say but, very nice week. My client enjoyed all aspects. Location, space in the room, shower, etc. Quite busy though. Nice place

It was nice and comfortable. Good location and good pricing, not too expensive. The bedroom was clean and well equiped. The only thing I missed was wifi access

Near to Tate Modern and the river, really great! The rooms are not too small, like the breakfast. Unfortunately we couldn't use the kitchen. But eating out is possible very close
