Bankside House Reviews
I stayed at Bankside House after the Arsenal V Shrewsbury match for 1 night. The staff were very helpful, and was very good value for money, and when in the capital again, I will stay at Bankside House.
Very conveniently situated within 5 minutes walk of the Globe and very slightly more to Menier Chocolate Factory. Shared bathroom was with only 1 other bedroom off a private lobby so almost as good as en-suite.Plenty of selection for the cooked breakfast. My only quibble was that my bed and mattress moved from under me if I tried to sit up in bed! I had to wedge it with the chair!
Comfortable and convenient venue. Quiet and well-run hall of residence. Breakfast well-cooked and ample. Staff very helpful and friendly. My wife and I will stay there again in future years. We found the availability of car parking very useful, in that we could leave the car in a safe place while we went around London. We would recommend to anyone needing vacation accommodation in London, and we would book Bankside House again
Great value for money. Room clean, bright and quiet. Breakfast excellent. Have stayed at other student accomodation in London and so far this was the best. Only observation, a second pillow would have been good
