Best Western Cumberland Hotel was central to all my destinations. Room was very comfortable. Staff were polite and helpful. On-site free parking was most helpful. Breakfast was excellent for the price. Good facilities on site. Thoroughly enjoyable stay

No idea of customer service and the shower could only let out hot water. After an engineer arrived, I was only able to get lukewarm water.

Whilst the room was clean and well presented on arrival at Best Western Cumberland Hotel, the house keeping knocked at approx. 10am each morning which did not suit me as I had many late meetings and so was enjoying the luxury of a lie-in. As a result for 3 days the room was not cleaned. Staff were helpful , that said when I ordered room service one evening, I waited over 40minutes for it to be delivered. Service at the hotels restaurant was similarly poor, although I dined off peak with few other customers in the restaurant at time, I waited upwards on 30minutes before enquiring from the lady who had taken my order at the bar, if the first course was en-route to be told, 'Oh I thought my colleague had already brought out your meal'. A further 10 minutes passed before my meal arrived

Bed was comfortable but got woken up a few times each night as my room was in the stairwell and got woken up a few times by noisy guests. Breakfast was good and enjoyed facilities. Very handy having a carpark. Enjoyed my stay at Best Western Cumberland Hotel

Best Western Cumberland Hotel was nice, comfortable and affordable. However, the laundry facilities should be able to return clothes within 24 hours, as there could be customers who stay for only one night

I knew what hotel I wanted to stay and so googled the best price. The best price was from Travelstay.com. I saved 33% on the hotels rates and so was very happy. I stayed for 2 nights and it was a great short break. Hotel was great and so were the staff. Had a nice stress free break. Hotel was nice and clean and my room was cleaned and fresh suppiles (towels/tea/milk) were made. 5/5 for travelstay.com for saving me money and 5/5 for the Best Western Cumberland Hotel. Hope to book again soon and hope Travelstay.com can even get a better discount
