How to get around Highgate
Highgate has two tube stations: Archway and Highgate, and both of these sit on the Northern Line in Tube Zone 3. Why not travel to Oxford Circus and experience the hustle and bustle of Central London’s vibrant shopping district? It’s just 15 minutes by tube. And be sure to visit the London Planetarium and Madame Tussauds which are really close to Baker Street Tube Station, just 18 minutes away via tube. In 18 minutes, you can also be in vibrant Piccadilly Circus and near to ‘Theatreland’ on Shaftesbury Avenue. If you fancy shopping in world-famous Harrods then hop on a tube to Knightsbridge, you’ll be there in just 20 minutes. Alternatively, take a 22-minute journey to Waterloo where you can take a ride on the famous London Eye which gives you amazing views across the whole of London.
If you want to drive during your stay in Highgate, you might be lucky enough to find a hotel with a car park. If not, you can park your car at Highgate Tube Station and walk to your accommodation from there.
If you fancy travelling around Highgate in the comfort of a taxi then the nearest taxi company to Archway Tube Station is Embassy Car Service in Archway Close, just off of Archway Rd.

If you want to experience one of London’s finest parks then walk to Regent’s Park. It’ll take you just 40 minutes if you start out at Archway Tube Station. You’ll also find London Zoo here, and Madame Tussauds and the London Planetarium are really close by!
