Overall it was ok I suppose. The negative feedback that I would give would be that the window would not shut properly, it kept on opening all the time. And even when the heating was on the room was still cold. That could be because the window kept on opening, was unable to shut
The Cranford Hotel was perfect for our stay in London. The rooms were comfortable and clean and staff were very helpful in helping us get to Central London. I would definitly recommend The Cranford Hotel.
Really lovely stay, would recommend The Cranford Hotel to anyone who wants a couple of basic and cheap nights stay in London! During our stay they were redecorating it all but the back garden is absolutely beautiful and that garden itself should get 4 stars - especially in the summer it will be stunning! The bedrooms are basic but still quite nice for the price. Overall I would definitely stay at The Cranford Hotel again for the price, helpfulness and politeness from the manager everyday and the fact it's a nice hotel. The only problems we had was the cold breakfast, the smell of paint everywhere as it was being redecorated at the time.
Nice presentation and very friendly and helpful staff. The English breakfast in the morning was a great compliment to the stay. In regards to the location it was a not exactly close to central London. The Ilford Train Station right down the street facilitated getting around the city. I would stay here again on my next trip to London
Room clean and tidy, staff very helpful only problems we had was with the wifi says on website free all over hotel, but we couldn't get a connection from our room because we were so far away from router so wouldnt find it on laptop.. Very noisy hotel saying its mainly used for workmen
