Description
The Central, London

The Central is a money saving London budget hotel, located in the East End of London. Guests at this hotel get to enjoy the benefit of being located above a traditional London pub. This atmospheric Victorian pub is a great place to soak up a real taste of the East End. You can relax with a drink or enjoy a game of pool or darts. Staying at The Central you will see a completely different side of London life, which contrasts dramatically with that of Kensington and Notting Hill.

The Central is ideal for tourists and students who are travelling on a budget. Rates are considerably cheaper than those of more central hotels and transport links from Upton Park make travelling around East London easy, with train access to Central London. The majority of rooms are singles, but double, triple and twin rooms are also available. The Central is self-catering accommodation, so there is a well-equipped kitchen for saving money on meals.

The Central was very nice. It was a bit further from the centre than I was expecting but all in all I enjoyed and would definitely stay there again

The hotel is good for the value of money, The room are clean and shower is good, however they need to spend some money to clean and update breakfast hall, common places. We are staying in this hotel for 4 years now, our room was good previuos years, but this year was small and heating was not working

There was good service and clean toilets and bathrooms. The apartment was ok, but some broken furniture and a bit dirty. But it was ok for the price range at the Central.

It's not terrible, but it's not great either. The day staff are wonderful but the evening staff are a bit distant and you can't always get in touch with the manager when you need him. The Central is good for a very short stay on a tight budget
