Stratford, just East of Central London, has a major shopping centre just down
the road from Stratford Lodge London. You will also find the Stratford Circus
and Theatre Royal Stratford East close by. As the next Channel Tunnel link will
soon be arriving in Stratford, as will most of the Olympic Park for the next
games, this is certainly a great place to find such a cheap London hotel. The
Central line tubes from here will take you direct to St Paul’s Cathedral, Oxford
Street and Notting Hill in Central London. |

Front bedroom very noisy, bed uncomfortable, bathroom smelt damp, breakfast consisted of a loaf of bread and a toaster. I wouldn't stay there again

We stayed for just one night. The room was fine for what you expect at that price, bins hadn't been emptied but bedding and bathroom etc was clean

OK for a night or two when you only need somewhere to crash at the end of the day and a cup of coffee and toast to get you going in the morning; certainly not for a holiday. the b and b is what can be expected in a run-down part of London, but with good transport links and shops nearby. Could be cleaner, windows were filthy, carpet and bathroom not very clean, but bedsheets were. staff were friendly enough; suppose for ?30/night in a central location you get what you pay for

All the staff were lovely. The lady receptionist was great. Room was nice and tidy, wardrobe was a bit dusty. Very close to Stratford tube station. Well worth the money, I thought.
