Stratford, just East of Central London, has a major shopping centre just down
the road from Stratford Lodge London. You will also find the Stratford Circus
and Theatre Royal Stratford East close by. As the next Channel Tunnel link will
soon be arriving in Stratford, as will most of the Olympic Park for the next
games, this is certainly a great place to find such a cheap London hotel. The
Central line tubes from here will take you direct to St Paul’s Cathedral, Oxford
Street and Notting Hill in Central London. |

I thought the room was very small but functional. I had to change room because a leak from the roof occurred and the staff were very good in moving me. Ensuites are small and basin v diificult to shave from. Bedding clean and towels also. For a cheap stop-over it is fine, but not if you wanted to stay more than a couple of nights

It is truly a 1 Star Lodge, with reference to the unmatched carpets, rugs, curtains and duvet covers. The bathroom is so appalling I could not bear having a shower in it, as I felt it was so disgusting. The only toiletries offered in a bar of soap, which dried out your hands. It is not worth spending the amount I did of 52 pounds (via travelstay), or even worse (60 pounds via the hotel company) for ONLY one night. The one positive comment that I feel I can express is that the people were polite

Stratford Lodge London is a really nice place, we didn't expect that much. We were a bit disappointed by the breakfast, but the rooms are nice and clean, and the staff is competent. We enjoyed our stay

I booked 1 double and 1 single bed in a room. But they provided me 2 double and 1 extra bed. We are couple with a small kid. The room was in underground with broken small window. The room was unhygienic and after shower water was not going out. We never lived such kind of room. First night they did not provide any towel

This hotel is OK if your expectations are not too high and if all you want is a place to sleep while you're seeing the sights in London. The bathroom was very tiny and my first impressions were that it was not very clean. The towels were replaced every day. The room was spacious enough and there was plenty of closet space. It was pleasant to have a fridge in the room. The beds were comfortable enough. I would advise others to bring earplugs, otherwise you might hear other guests and the traffic while trying to sleep. The staff was friendly and there was always someone in the reception area.
