The columned entrance of Romanos Hotel gives it a feeling of grandeur that,
fortunately for you, isn’t reflected in its prices. This is an affordable and
family run cheap London hotel with simple rooms that’s really close to places
like the Tate Britain and Westminster Cathedral. When you check in, pick up some
tourist information from the 24 hour reception so you can plan your days. You
should book an early wakeup call, eat your free continental breakfast and then
go out to explore London.

This is second time I stayed at the Hotel. After reading reviews I was put off, but thought what the hell. I can't comment on the breakfast because I never got round to being up in time, but the staff were helpful. One thing did put me off- we didn't have to be out the room until 10.30am but the cleaner came in twice before we had even left and I was still in bed

Room was dirty. There was no space in bathroom to bathe. On top of that, the staff was very rude

The hotel is clean and tidy and functional. I had a good room, which although the shower had leaked into the carpet (which I reported), it was a convenient and well priced stay. My only niggle is I left my reading glasses behind and was unable to contact anyone who could help find them? oh, and no remote for the TV!

I'm afraid I'm not very pleased with my experience at the Romanos Hotel. The room was sub-standard, small, cold, with shower and toilet three levels higher. Breakfast was reasonable, although not very good. I was late with my booking and happy that I found something, but I should have checked more thoroughly. At any rate I think this hotel might be OK, but this particular room wasn't

I booked this hotel on line and did not really know what to expect on arrival. The locality of it won over as my Mother and I were seeing a show at the Appollo. The situation of the hotel was excellent and easily accessible to Victoria and the rest of London. On arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant gentleman on reception who showed us our room. I was not expecting much, the room was small, the bathroom even smaller but both were clean and tidy. The TV did not work very well but we were not there to watch it anyway! The beds were small and a bit wobbly but as the area and the hotel was quiet we had a surprisingly good night’s sleep. In the morning we did have a slight issue with the bathroom door which had somehow locked from the outside! After going to reception we were disappointed that the person manning reception in the morning was not half as nice as the gentleman from the day before and she was bordering on rude. We did not attend breakfast so I cannot comment on what that was like. I would definitely stay there again as it is convenient, clean and tidy, but could not really stay there for more than one night at a time. You definitely get what you pay for
