An excellent hotel. My room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and plentiful and the staff were friendly and helpfull. The walk from the Underground was nearer half an hour than the quarter hour advertised but otherwise all was very good and excellent value. I hope to stay there again.

Tommy Miah's Raj Hotel is excellent, the staff are really friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and the service at breakfast was good also. Great value for money. Although this hotel is a bit of a walk away from the nearest tube station, there is a very regular bus service (no. 38 is handy to/from Victoria) with a convenient bus stop opposite the hotel. All in all, a very big thumbs up from me

I had a comfortable stay. The recpetion was friendly, the place clean and tidy, the room neat and clean, the shower room well appointed and adequate in terms of facilities offered ... my only difficulty was this: it was a single room, very small. That was not important, the bed was clean and comfortable but there was no chair, no shelving, nowhere to put anything, so that one's clothes etc had to stay in one's bag on the floor. There was no room for a chest of drawers, but perhaps some open- fronted shelving, maybe above the bed, would have at least provided somehwere to put things. Having said that, it was very good value and I would go there again
