Northumberland House TopFloor! Reviews
We stayed at Northumberland House for 2 nights. The room was clean, well equipped and comfortable. It was also high in the building and facing away from the road, so traffic noise was not an issue. We would definitely stay here again for a short trip to London. Good value, very good location
We absolutely loved it! We'll be back
Having stayed in a single ordinary room I had thought that the Top Floor might be a little more comfortable. The room was very small and the bathroom facilities are basic. Having to book 3 nights made it quite expensive. I realise that the location is good and I shall probably stay again in a basic room. I think that for two people in such a small room is rather claustrophobic. The reception staff are always helpful and friendly
The room was clean and serviceable but very very hot, and rather tiny too. I stayed in early June and found that the fan provided was not enough to provide relief from the heat. I'm not sure why it was so hot on the 10th floor even when it was fairly cool outside. It was nice to have access to a kitchen down the hall, though oddly there were no cups even though tea and coffee were provided. The staff were kind and helpful
