As Northumberland House TopFloor! is so centrally located you'll be able to visit loads of top London tourist attractions. Trafalgar Square and the massive Nelson's Column are only a couple of minutes walk away. Afterwards you could stroll to pedestrianised Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, the National Gallery and even Buckingham Palace. If you want to watch a West End play or musical during your stay you will find that your accommodation is surrounded by theatres for you to choose from.

If you arrive before the check in time at Northumberland House Top Floor!, you can leave your bags at reception. If you will be arriving after 6pm, you should tell the accommodation in advance as the reception closes at 11pm but there will be security staff present to check you in. At check in you will receive a security card that gives you 24 hour access.
You will have a telephone in your room and to make outgoing calls you can purchase phone cards from reception. You will be supplied with bed linen and towels, which will be changed every 3 days. Your room will be cleaned daily and your waste bin will be emptied.

- It's really easy to get to Northumberland House TopFloor! via tube. Travel on the Bakerloo or Northern line, get off at Charing Cross Tube Station and follow the on foot directions below.
- On Foot:
- From Charing Cross Tube Station you need to exit onto Villiers Street, turn left and start walking. At the end of the street take a left into The Strand, and then turn left into Northumberland Avenue (which is just past Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column). We stayed at Northumberland House for 2 nights. The room was clean, well equipped and comfortable. It was also high in the building and facing away from the road, so traffic noise was not an issue. We would definitely stay here again for a short trip to London. Good value, very good location

Having stayed in a single ordinary room I had thought that the Top Floor might be a little more comfortable. The room was very small and the bathroom facilities are basic. Having to book 3 nights made it quite expensive. I realise that the location is good and I shall probably stay again in a basic room. I think that for two people in such a small room is rather claustrophobic. The reception staff are always helpful and friendly

The room was clean and serviceable but very very hot, and rather tiny too. I stayed in early June and found that the fan provided was not enough to provide relief from the heat. I'm not sure why it was so hot on the 10th floor even when it was fairly cool outside. It was nice to have access to a kitchen down the hall, though oddly there were no cups even though tea and coffee were provided. The staff were kind and helpful
