As Northumberland House is so centrally located you can walk to many of the famous tourist attractions that London has to offer. Trafalgar Square and the imposing Nelson's Column will practically be on your doorstep. West End theatres will surround you, so you can pick which play or musical you really want to see. You will also be able to walk to the National Gallery, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus. You can stroll to Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing of the Guards too! |

You should travel on the Northern or Bakerloo lines and get off at Charing Cross

Once you get to Charing Cross Tube Station exit onto Villiers Street and turn to
your left. Walk to the end of this street and then take a left into The Strand.

Had a brilliant 3 night stay. Room is clean, well cared for, and as stated wonderfully located. The only thing I could have wished for would be a little shelf and light for reading in bed, but hey, that's a quibble. Thanks very much, I'd gladly come back.
