Entrance shabby. Ditto for room & en-suite. Toilet seat broken .T.V. not working. Also no remote control provided. Door lock flimsy. Did not eat in hotel

The room was clean and comfortable, travel to the City was easy as there is a train station across the road. Breakfast was disappointing - we were expecting a continental breakfast but instead were presented with an egg and sausage. When I asked about the alternatives as we are vegetarians, we were offered 2 eggs! We ended up with egg and toast, not what we particularly wanted, but the cook's English was not too good

Considering we only paid £70 for two adults for two nights, we got what we paid for. We only needed a base to do things in London centre and it was just that. The staff were pleasant enough and quite helpful. The room was clean and acceptable. The hotel is across the road from the overground station and that is only one stop from the underground. This makes travelling to the city centre handy and only takes about 20 minutes. The down sides are; in the summer the rooms are stifling so take a fan. It is very noisy outside with the very near train station, a main road and a pedestrian crossing right outside that seems to beep all night. Finally, our rooms TV would not get a decent signal.
