I can say I really enjoysed my stay at Journeys King Cross. It's maybe less elegant then other "boutique" London hostels but it's clean, the atmosphere is very relaxed, location is perfect, wi fi works perfectly, there's a proper kitchen, the staff is nice and helpful. I'm quite sure I'll go back there

Very good location, excellent staff, very small rooms, OK breakfast. Good value for money if you stay for a few days

despite several not so good reviews, we have to say that our stay was very nice. Obviously it's a hostel, not a hotel. Our room was "peculiar but clean", bed nice, it was very quiet despite being near King's Cross. The toilets could've been checked for paper more often but were ok, too. Showers always had hot water, though I'd wish some people would just remove their own hair from it after use - no hostel staff can be expected to clean after every use.... Breakfast was in fact better than most hostels I know, free wifi was a good thing. We'd definitely come back.
